Love Mobile® CEO Koddi Dunn recently joined an inspiring lineup of women leaders as a guest panelist at the Boss Lady Brunch, hosted by Experience Tulsa. The event brought together business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals for a morning of empowerment, connection, and honest conversation about what it means to lead with purpose.
The Boss Lady Brunch was designed to create a safe space for women in business to share experiences, network with peers, and learn from trailblazing leaders. Conversations centered on authentic leadership, community building, and the challenges of entrepreneurship, giving attendees valuable insight into what it takes to grow with intention.
During the panel, Koddi shared the heartfelt story of how Love Mobile®—The Cellphone Company That Gives Back® was born. She explained that the idea began at her family’s kitchen table during the pandemic when she and her husband realized they wanted to create something that truly made an impact beyond success.
“We had built a successful streaming company, but during the pandemic, everything shifted,” Koddi shared. “I remember saying, ‘We’ve done well for ourselves, but what have we done to impact the greater good?’ That moment changed everything.”
From that realization, Koddi and her husband began exploring how giving back could be built into something people use every day.
“What if giving back was automatic—like paying your water or power bill? Everyone has a cellphone. So what if every time you paid your bill, part of it went right back into your community?”
That idea became the foundation of Love Mobile®. The company’s Give Back™ model reinvests a portion of every customer’s phone bill into four key pillars: education, community services, the environment, and pet adoption and care.
Koddi also emphasized the importance of protecting your ideas early:
“I spent an entire year just securing our intellectual property. That’s for somebody—slow down, protect your ideas first. We own the trademark ‘The Cellphone Company That Gives Back®’, and that’s part of what makes us different.”
Koddi shared that Love Mobile® officially launched this summer and is already making an impact. The company recently partnered with Google to provide over $175,000 in digital skill scholarships through its “Grow with Google” cohort, which offered certifications in AI Essentials, Digital Marketing, and Prompting to more than 200 participants.
