This year’s conference brought together leading scholars, HBCU administrators, founders, policymakers, and industry experts for a full day of conversation focused on the future of AI, STEM opportunity, and inclusive innovation.

The 2025 RETE program included a dynamic lineup of keynote presentations, structured pitch sessions, and breakout discussions. Attendees explored critical topics such as AI as Research Context and Its Impact on Racially Minoritized Founders, USPTO strategies for protecting ideas in the AI Era, Ethical and Practical Applications of Large Language Models, and The State of STEM Entrepreneurship in 2025.

The conference’s signature session—the Entrepreneurship X AI Panel—featured innovators shaping the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and new venture creation. This conversation emphasized real-world AI use cases for founders, equity implications for underrepresented entrepreneurs, and the expanding pathways available to students entering STEM and technology careers. A Leader Advancing Access, Innovation & Opportunity

Wade Dunn Jr., Managing Partner of Love Mobile, served as a featured panelist during the Entrepreneurship X AI session. Dunn is a internationally recognized operations and innovation leader whose career spans technology, workforce development, and community empowerment.

He is a PDP Global Certified Professional, a Google Data Analytics certificate holder, and co-founder of The Streaming Center, where he led training and development efforts and helped more than 5,000 clients build digital media expertise. Dunn has also launched and scaled multiple tech-access initiatives, including bringing the Grow With Google Career Certification program to Booker T. Washington High School—securing 500 licenses for students and families.

At RETE 2025, Dunn offered a community-centered perspective on AI adoption, sharing practical strategies for early-stage founders and emphasizing the importance of equitable access as the technology landscape continues to evolve.
